You may want to offer a discount based on the fact the customer is buying a defined amount of tickets (E.g: family ticket or Group of 4). Quantity Multipliers allow you to do this.

To set up a new concession type, navigate to Admin>Settings>General>Concession Types.

Click on the add button under the bottom row of the table.

In the Concession Type window, you can now set the Quantity Multiplier. In the example, we have set it as 4. This Concession Type will mean 4 tickets are put in the order when used.

Once we have added the new concession type, we can add it to a Discount Scheme

Once we add a new concession type to the discount scheme, we can apply a benefit calculation. Benefit calculations are per ticket. If you wanted a Group of 4 concession type to give $10 off, you would apply a $2.50 discount per ticket.

Here is an example of what it looks like on the sales website.

In the basket, the "Group of 4" ticket will appear as one line item. However, once the transaction is completed there will be 4 tickets placed in the order. This allows your capacity numbers to be correct and for you to use the cancellation and exchange engine as you normally would.
