Memberships can be made visible to the public so they can be purchased online, or they can be set to be invisible to the public, in which case anyone wishing to purchase a membership must either call the box office or visit in person.

To configure membership types, navigate to the Setup section of the Monad Admin Console and create a folder on the file-tree to contain memberships.  Next set up any memberships required within the memberships folder, following the same process to create any other product.   The Starkadder test site already has several different membership price schemes and products set up inside a Membership folder for you to examine.

When setting up a new Membership product, the relevant price scheme is selected or created on the Pricing tab.

Note that generally a discount scheme would not be relevant when purchasing a membership, but there is the option here to add one should the need arise.

Capacity, Delivery, On Sale Dates etc are not an issue when selling memberships, so these tabs can be ignored.  However, there are options on the Finance tab of the product which you may want to set.

A Stock-Keeping Unit isn’t going to be relevant to memberships, for example, since in principle you could sell them in unlimited amounts, but you may very well wish to set tax rates and instalment-plan options for your memberships.
